Aqua cabin - prepaid gratitudes?

I have a question: if I'd book Aqua cabin, will X charge me prepaid gratitudes (because of Blu) or they will charge them dailly during the cruise? I will have big OBC from travel agent and I don't want to spend money to prepaid gratitudes now.

They will charge you per day if you wish but make sure when you pick your dining selection you pick a traditional time. Do not pick Select dining because then you will have to prepay gratuities. Once you are on board, dining is anytime no matter what you choose. I know it sounds screwy but that's the way their computer works. This is the most asked question about Blu since it was instituted, many TA's and even some Celebrity customer service reps screw it up. Just pick a traditional time and you will be fine.

Have been in Aqua 4 times and never prepaid gratitudes. As djkretired stated

just pick traditional dining. Everytime we have gotten a letter saying our dining time is 8:30 but with Aqua you can show up at any time.
