PompeySailor Posted July 29, 2014 #26 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Quick follow-up: just got off the phone with C&A and the price drop was real. Shows up as a "Cat Discount" (whatever that means) on the invoice, but it just saved us ~$600 :) Great news.. We couldn't believe it at 1st either. Glad you were able to take advantage:) Guess phone lines will be busy this morning.
m*u*g* Posted July 29, 2014 #27 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Hard to compare since not all lines are the same. I generally find you get what you pay for. Prices also fluctuate with season just like any other resort town with high demand. So is RCCL more expensive? Yes at times, but I feel it's usually warranted. If it wasn't for this thread, I would not have even thought of going out and checking:) Edited July 29, 2014 by orville99
jonbgd Posted July 29, 2014 #29 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Usually our RCCL cruises are a little more than CCL out of Galveston but with the perks and discounts it is usually overall cheaper at the end BTW I just checked all of our future cruises and they have all gone up:eek:
