Chase Suites Tampa?

The Chase Suites in Tampa has the most mixed reviews I've ever seen. (Looking for a park and cruise port shuttle hotel). Some love the Chase, many hate it. Anyone stayed there recently and have a review for me? I'm hoping renovations are being completed and the bad issues maybe improved. Thanks.
