Casino on SUN

Does the casino on the Sun have Texas Holdem Poker and do the tables play with a real person dealing real cards or those digital handheld things?

 

Its been 7 years since we last cruised but our friends recently cruised Carnival and said all the tables went digital and there were no dealers and cards anymore. Just wondered if thats the way it is now on all the ships or maybe its just certain cruiselines or ships that do this?

We have been on the Sun 3 times: crap table, black jack and yes, Texas holdem. But the crap table will only be used if they have more than one or two people wanting to play. Usually there is a table open. I will add, we have done better on slots there than on any of our 30 plus cruises. Have we come home with more than we left with? NOPE, but we have made the money last a lot longer.

All NCL ships have live dealer tables.

 

But it's a 10% rake (capped at 25$).

Thank you for confirming texas holdem. Hubby plays that but maybe I will try my luck with the slots!
