Birthday on board

We are on carnival freedom in Dec. My daughter turns 6 on 3rd day. Will she be in camp group w 6 and up or the group that goes up to age 5?

Also are there any special things I can do for her on board? We will be in cozumel that day... any ideas?

Generally, the age you are upon embarking, is the age you'll stay for the entire cruise....HOWEVER, it's very likely that they will allow her to move up...just ask!

 

I believe you can order a birthday cake and decorations for a fee.

You can purchase gifts (candy, toys, ect) and have them delivered to the room. They also offer decoration packages that the will set up in the room for you. You can also order a birthday cake online before you leave or wait till you get on ship and order from the candy store to gave it delivered to the room or after dinner one night in the dining room;)

When we were in port on my twins' b-day, we arranged a little celebration at one of the beach restaurants ahead of time - had lunch and played on the beach and the restaurant brought out dessert with candles/singing, etc.
