judydoc Posted August 12, 2014 #76 Share Posted August 12, 2014 Did you happen to have pictures of the Diningroom Menus. :) Would love to see them. Some final thoughts...The ship NCL Pearl The ship looked to be in good shape except for some of the furniture in spinnaker and Bliss. (the beds and funky chairs) They were well worn. Other then that it looked good. Our room however had carpet that was pretty stained up and there was no varnish on the railings. The glass on the railing looked like it had varnish dripped on and dried my several sports and it was just plain yucky looking. The room was clean though but our steward did find a shirt probably under the bed that wasn't ours. We could see how it could be missed as it looked strangely like the carpet. I never really did get the hang of where everything was and never seen the casino till we went looking for it. Carnival Elation LIked the 7 story ( I believe) atrium but I thought the ship looked like it needed a bit of care. This was in 2011 so I'm sure it has or is going to get dry docked. BUt, it was very clean as the others Sapphire Princess one of the pools Beautiful ship. Kind of beige but that is the clientele. An older crowd. In very good condition. So if I had to rate them Princess NCL Carnival

Jinglesbella Posted May 18, 2015 #81 Share Posted May 18, 2015 The roomsNCL The room looked really nice. Kind of hard to get around when the couch was pulled out and bunk down. The bathroom was small. I know my husband would have liked it. Kudos on the shower. It has sliding doors and plenty of room. There was also plenty of storage space under the sink. What room category was this?
Rebel_Jedi Posted May 18, 2015 #82 Share Posted May 18, 2015 The staterooms look roomier than I thought actually!
Rare sprint180 Posted May 22, 2015 Author #83 Share Posted May 22, 2015 Sorry I don't know what category it was. the room would have had plenty of room had we not put 4 people in a room. But, we did fine. We are a big family and are used to being crowded! :D
Jinglesbella Posted May 22, 2015 #84 Share Posted May 22, 2015 Thank you for your response. My son, his girlfriend and I have a balcony stateroom for Sept. I'm wondering if it will be big enough for 3 adults. I guess it will have to be!
cigarboo Posted May 22, 2015 #85 Share Posted May 22, 2015 sometimes mini suites are only a little bit more than balcony rooms. In your case i think it would be worth it to get the bit of extra space and curtain divider. In a balcony on the pearl, the 3rd and 4th bed tends to block the door to the balcony. The mini suite sofa bed also turns into a double bed which might be more comfortable for the 3rd person, rather than the twin.

cigarboo Posted May 23, 2015 #87 Share Posted May 23, 2015 There's definitely more space to go around, where with a balcony, you practically have to crawl over the bed to get out onto the balcony.
