Sorry if this is a repeat of an earlier question...Anyone have tips on the Regal obstructed view balconies? Are the really obstructed?

What are good obstructed cabins to seek out..ones to avoid ?

thanks

Alan

Some have either a soild steel rail instead of glass, or there is a Lifeboat at deck level (Emerald deck). Some on Emerald deck have lifeboat equip (davits) etc.

When looking at the cabin description some are noted there in red.

Has anyone been in E505 on the Royal/Regal? Does the tender outside this balcony come down in port? Just curious. Never had an obstructed balcony before. Do they lower all the tenders in a port? Is there a way to tell which ones they lower from the pictures? From pictures I've seen, some look smaller than others, wonder why?

Check out Dave's post which will help you: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=42193992&postcount=2

The larger boats are tenders, the smaller ones are lifeboats. Lifeboats are not normally lowered in port or used as tenders.
