caggfamily Posted August 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2014 I'll be taking my first HAL cruise on Eurodam over New Year's and I decided to check on the excursions offered by HAL. We usually book our own, but depending on the port or the excursion, sometimes we book through the cruise line. One of our stops is San Juan, which i've been to several times before. I thought there would be many options, but HAL only lists 4 choices. Is this normal? By comparison, there are a ton listed for Half Moon Cay and at least 15 or more for St. Thomas. We are going to be there on New Year's Eve, but still that number seems low. Do you think they will post more choices as we get closer or is that it? Krazy Kruizers Posted August 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2014 On our last couple of stops in San Juan -- most recently this past spring, there were only 12 listed for our Nieuw Amsterdam cruise. I have a feeling that because it is New Year's Eve -- not many of the bus drivers and cabs, etc. want to work that day.
catl331 Posted August 8, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2014 For our early Dec cruise there were only a few listed for SJ at first but there are now 10. I think you will see more appear later.
