Going to caves

What is the most economical way to get to the caves from cruise dock for family of 4.

Ferry service from Dockyard to either Hamilton or St. George's, followed by a #1 or #3 bus from Hamilton or St. George's to the caves.

Ferry to Hamilton ( 20 minutes ) and then bus ( 30 minutes ) to caves.

 

Ferry to St-George ( 40 minutes ) and then bus ( 20 minutes ) to caves.

 

If I am not mistaking, you can't transfer for free from ferry to bus...so I think you will have to pay 2 tickets per person per way.

So I think a day pass would be cheaper. If you plan on using the public bus on your other days, maybe you should plan on buying a 2 or 3 day pass.
