madmaninabluebox Posted August 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2014 I'm having a gap in my memory, here. I remember on previous cruises the staff handed out water bottles on shore days...what I can't remember is if they are free or if you have to pay for them? If we had to pay for them, I'll bring re-useable water bottles. :-)

You can get bottled water as part of the Replenish, Premium, or Ultimate unlimited drink packages. Edited August 15, 2014 by clarea

cruisenfever Posted August 15, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 15, 2014 (edited) Thanks, I'll make sure to pack refillable bottles, then! I'm sure you are aware of this, but just a reminder to please remember to fill a glass and then pour that glass into your water bottle. There are signs on all machines indicating that putting the opening of the water bottle up to the spigot is not allowed. Cabin8538 Posted September 28, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 28, 2014 When you get a bottle of water in the package - do they open the water bottle or keep the top just so you don't stock pile them in your room? If we want to get some for an excursion the next day, i wouldn't want them to be all open?
cb at sea Posted September 28, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 28, 2014 Just ask for it not to be opened, and if they open it, ask for the top!

Slonik Posted September 28, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 28, 2014 Can I just bring 2 sealed bottles of water on board and then just refill them from the "tap" while on board? I will fill the glass and then from the glass, my bottle to maintain the hygiene of the spout. Then when docking, get fresh bottles of water and do the same thing till the next docking day? It's against the rules to bring water on board, but they usually don't enforce the rule. Re-filling the bottles the way you described is fine. I'd do the carry-on, so your checked bags don't get delayed because they see suspicious liquid.
