I am Jelous!!, QV and QE mens free sauna is the same, decor throughout the ship is different.

I’m booked on that same cruise. QV and QE are very similar. It should be a great time!

From what Rodbarry said in an earlier post, it seems QA has a mixed steam room but it’s mostly guys and towels aren’t mandatory

First time on Cunard will be QA next December, next cruise is Oceania Vista January 24 2025 have access to the spa there hope there is a male steam room and sauna.

From what Rodbarry said in an earlier post, it seems QA has a mixed steam room but it’s mostly guys and towels aren’t mandatory 

There is a sign  as the steam room is mixed, being " appropriately dressed"

Appropriately dressed is quite subjective isn’t it?  After all, the single sex saunas on QE and QV have similar signs. I interpret appropriate there as naked.

Yes, very true. In my case I’m less likely to travel on a ship that doesn’t have a single sex sauna. I suppose my options will become more limited!

Even if it wasn't free, if they could still have separate areas then they wouldn't have to have the stupid clothing rules.

Hello All, we are doing a back to back on NCL Jade on 20 July  Any comments on the set up of the sauna?  Thanks

 

Also doing a Transpacific on the Costa Fascinosa does anyone know the set up or have comments on their saunas.

Jade is one of the best out there, bar none. You're going to have a great time. Get the thermal pass. Shared area in the center and incredible single sex areas.

The NCL Pearl is the same set up but someone said they removed a larger single sex hot tub and in its place put a weird single man hot tub that just overflows when one person gets in. Nice large single sex saunas over the bridge wings and a small steam room and cold plunge pool as well. The open showers barely functioned during our trip on the Pearl back in January ‘24. Also eventhough there were separate areas for men and women, 90% wore swim trunks in the single sex areas during our voyage.

I was on the Jewel back in March, at it was set up exactly this way.  And most wore trunks - However a few didn't...
