guardhouse Posted August 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2014 We are looking at doing two 1-day short cruises. Westerdam from Seattle to Vancouver (arrive 7 AM) and then boarding Statendam (4:45 departure) to return to Seattle. Has anyone done this in the last year? Did it work ok in Vancouver? Do you recall how early you can board the ship in either port? Thanks for the help.
sail7seas Posted August 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2014 You need to check if it violates PVSA If, indeed, you can do it, you probably would board around 11:00 or so.
Shmoo here Posted August 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) You need to check if it violates PVSA If, indeed, you can do it, you probably would board around 11:00 or so. It shouldn't violate the PVSA. Because the overall trip would basically be a round trip from Seattle. Like a closed loop cruise. Except it's on different ships, which would completely not even involve the PVSA. Edited August 19, 2014 by Shmoo here
PathfinderEss Posted August 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2014 Sounds like a great idea. You should be able to board around 11:30. Depending on how many ships are in that day, going thru immigration can take awhile in Vancouver, be prepared.
