Zevo Posted August 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2014 Do the slot machines take cash or do you have to use your card. Really don't want to put my gambling $$ on a credit card.
resstation Posted August 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 21, 2014 They take cash and prayers! On our last cruise the slots were down for almost two days. Something about a firmware issue. People were NOT happy (nor were the employees-they lost a ton of business). Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

Don't worry there will be no winnings. 17 people went in a group and not 1 person was ever ahead at no point during there cruise, neither has my wife or friends seen a penny profit. JSnow789 Posted August 21, 2014 #8 Share Posted August 21, 2014 I play craps. No odds, but you can still make money if you stick to a 'system' that works. :)

Yes, this is true. The slots are extremely tight. Blackjack was good for my husband and myself and he was up in craps as well. Table games were definitely much better. Table games were definitely much better. I faired pretty well at the blackjack tables as well. Unfortunately, the second night I was playing third base, and the people to my right were half drunk taking hits on hard 18's,,,needless to say, I ended up giving back 1/3 of my winnings from the night before before I colored up and left the table. JSnow789 Posted August 21, 2014 #11 Share Posted August 21, 2014 I might play BJ on our cruise. I find it tedious and boring since you really don't make many decisions. But I usually win at it since I don't like to play it... LOL

resstation Posted August 23, 2014 #13 Share Posted August 23, 2014 can you tell me if there were any texas holdem games going on? There were several Texas Hold'em tournaments scheduled. I don't remember what they cost. My husband played (and he can't remember either). We think $99 but really, not certain. jimw Posted August 24, 2014 #15 Share Posted August 24, 2014 We actually won the whopping sum of $10. on quarter slots--of course we won a little and quit............There were many one cent machines--possibly most of the slots. We just got off the ship today. They did run a Texas Holdem tourney. The casino is located on deck 6 in the bow right behind the theater and at least last week was non smoking........... There is no craps table on Divina.. yes there is a craps table? can anyone confirm if there is or is not a craps table and if so, what size? is it a 12 foot table or a 6 foot tub? Thank you ! Rare Cruisergal1208 Posted August 24, 2014 #19 Share Posted August 24, 2014 On our March cruise, the first week, I won a total of $2000 on the slots. Then the 2nd week, 00. Didn't put it all back in either!!
BigDen Posted August 25, 2014 #20 Share Posted August 25, 2014 I just got off the August 9 sailing of the Divina and played craps every night. It's a smaller craps table, I estimate 8 feet long. Minimum bet $5 with double odds. Some dealers are good and some are learning so count your money on payoffs. Pitt bosses were good and pretty friendly. DeckSwabber Posted August 25, 2014 #21 Share Posted August 25, 2014 Thanks for the response Big Den.. was it easy to find a spot at the table or did you have trouble? my guess is you can only get about 8 to 10 players around a table that size
BigDen Posted August 25, 2014 #22 Share Posted August 25, 2014 Getting a spot at the table wasn't hard. At the busiest, I would say we had 5 players playing on each side and occasionally squeezed in a 6th. The table usually opened at 9 pm and would get full after the 9 o'clock show ended at 10 pm.
