Lido Inside or Balcony Guarantee?

I would like opinions please. We are currently booked on the Valor in a Lido inside. We can switch to a balcony guarantee for less than $20. Would you?

Is a balcony the only option? I only ask because we have "scenic ocean view" rooms on the Valor and they are bigger than inside and balcony rooms.

If getting a cabin under or above a noisy area would bother you then stay with the Lido inside. If you are not bothered by noise and don't need to be in a particular location on the ship then $20 for a balcony is a great deal.

 

We like to go out and watch the entry into port, plus if you see a great view you can step inside and get your camera.

I love having a balcony, but the Lido deck is a great location. I guess it depends on if you are ok being in a balcony wherever they put you.

This is a no-brainer for me. I would definitely take the Balcony Guarantee for $20 less than the Lido inside. Just sayin.

$20 is a great deal for a balcony. But you have to willing to take any open balcony. Are you a gambler?

As much as I love lido deck cabins.. i love balconies more... who knows... you could end up there anyway... i would definetly take the balcony.. much more room inside as well.... 20 is a no brainer for me...

I love lido cabins, but I would take my chances on a balcony for that price.

I have never cruised without a balcony. Some of the best cruise moments are on your private balcony. A luscious cup of coffee at sun-up watching the flying fish, relaxing after your shower with a glass of wine before dressing for dinner, midnight under the stars with only the sound of the ship cutting through the water... I would do it.

Had an inside our first cruise. Balconies since. I don't think I could ever go back, even to an ocean view.
