Lecturers/naturalists on Celebrity Millennium, Alaska?

Hi,

 

we have booked Celeb. Millennium for Aug. 2015 in Alaska (Vancouver --> Seward).

Does Celebrity have naturalists or lecturers on board, who gives presentations about Alaska?

I have heard that NCL does not have them, but RCI, Princess and HAL seem to have them...

Infinity did on both that we took, and I presume Millennium will. I can't think of too many other destinations where a naturalist aboard would be more appropriate.

Then I presume as well that we will have one onboard.

NCL seems to be the only line without having them...

HAL Amsterdam did not have one in June of this year. Painful after having Brent Nixon on Infinity 5 years ago.

Yes, Celebrity will have a naturalist on board. And if it's Brent Nixon, don't miss any of his talks. He's fabulous. He also came on our private whale watch.

Book anything with Brent Nixon!!!!!!! He is simply fabulous and his wife was an extra fabulous speaker on the Titanic!!! We loved them both!!

We have sailed with Brent and he is incomparable, but unfortunately he is not on your cruise.

We were just on Millennium, and had Dirk Younkerman as the Naturalist. He was fun!

I agree about Brent Nixon.

 

We were on Carnival 2 years ago, the naturalist on board was informative but not entertaining as well.
