We are booked for January cruise to Mexico, but can change it to March if we want. Which of these two months is better if you are looking for whales, dolphins, etc. Thanks, Sue

January or March we have seen lots of whales/dolphins.

If I had to choose it would be early March.

I'd say January. Early March, the whales start their journey north. By the third week of March, there are just a few left. If you book March, do the first few days. I was in Cabo on March 3rd this year and saw plenty of whales. The year before, I was there mid-March and there were only a couple.
