Did Carnival Get Rid of Cold Soups?

Hey all!

 

Cruising on the Glory in a couple months, couldn't be more excited.

 

I LOVE Carnival's cold soups, and I really look forward to having some. But I read somewhere that they got rid of them. Is this true on the Glory? And on the Freedom I remember getting some sort of jello rather than strawberries. Is that normal now?

 

If carnival still has them, what are the flavors?

On recent menus posted, I've seen cold black cherry soup & peaches & cream soup. Not sure if this pertains to Glory.

Had them on the Splendor this month. Love the strawberry bisque.

Just on the Triumph last week. My Dad had the strawberry & cherry chilled soup. I think they also had a mango, but not positive on that one.

They weren't on the 3 or 4 day Inspiration cruises with the new menus. But they have been seriously tweaking them.

Glory is testing the 7day new menu.

Carnival might not be getting rid of cold soups, but cold rooms seem to be going the way of the dinosaur. 😒

They had cold soup including gazpacho and cherry last week on the Freedom.

Had them on the Magic in June. Strawberry, peach, mango and cherry. Man they were good.

On the Liberty, the cold soups were on the American Table menu. I know they definitely had strawberry, mango, and cherry.

Got off the Dream a few weeks ago......they had the chilled soups...yum yum yum

Love the cold soups!!

They had them on Freedom two weeks ago. I love them, too.

The chilled cucumber soup was missing, however.

The new menus originally left out the cold soups, which is probably what you read about. They have been added back since then.

Just off the Paradise today.....5 day cruise an I had them every night.
