leaveitallbehind Posted August 29, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2014 (edited) If you don't make a reservation beforehand and just show up, is there a long wait? There is no way to say exactly as it depends on a number of variables: time, number of people in your party, type of table request (solo or with others) and number of other passengers showing up without a reservation. I don't think - based on our observations on other ships - it would be more than 10 minutes or so, however. Hopefully others with more direct experience can qualify this. dancinman66 Posted August 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2014 Depends on what time you are turning up Can be for around 5-6:30 up to 6:30 but after that often is not too bad Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Dafuq Posted August 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 29, 2014 We just got off the Allure on Sunday and, during our trip, we met up with a Florida couple who were doing the "My Time" dining. Although I'm sure this is not a common thing, one night (Friday formal) they had to wait 45 minutes to get a seat. Personally, I like our 6:00 dining time. We never have to wait and it leaves the evening wide open for whatever.
Klstaack Posted August 29, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 29, 2014 We are going on Allure on Sunday and I made reservations for every night around 6:30. I do not like waiting.
Sweetest Sin Posted August 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 29, 2014 I think it really depends on when you show up. Lines around 6 or 6:30 were pretty non-existent last week for people with no reservations, but later on, around 7 or 7:30 there was a huge line. I'm not sure how swiftly the line moved.
