bobstheboy Posted August 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2014 We are on the October 22nd cruise, flying from Manchester. The flight to Malaga is with Jet 2, the flight from Barbados is Thomson. The allowance for Jet2 is 20kg and Thomson 23kg. On the Jet 2 site their charter flights give the option for hold baggage which is 22kg, no mention of 20kg. What a crazy situation. I have only just noticed this anomaly and shall be on to PO in the morning.
goody1 Posted August 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2014 My wife and I flew with Jet2 last year from Edinburgh to Venice to join the Celebrity Silhouette and allowance was 22kg.
Lol 1944 Posted August 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2014 Not only that!! The hand luggage size is different on each flight!!!!!!!!!
BrianI Posted August 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2014 As both flights are P&O charters, the luggage allowance is set by them and it is 23kg for each flight. Rare Presto2 Posted August 31, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 31, 2014 We used Jet 2 as part of an Inghams ski flight and were told that it was 20kgs. We checked at the desk the day before flying and it was 22kgs and always has been since. Stick to the 22kgs and, just to reassure you if you haven't used Jet2 before that we have never had a bad flight with them. :)
