Golden Pincess San Juan

Does any one know which pier Princess uses. We are flying in a day early to SJ and could use some help for good hotels near whichever pier we leave from.

She uses the Pan American Pier, which is across the inlet from Old San Juan. She does NOT use the cruise docks at the bottom of the hill in OSJ. You will need a cab to get to the pier, there are no nearby hotels. All cabs in that area are set fares, not metered, so its no problem. About $5 from OSJ to pier, about $10 from Condado beach area, about $12-15 from Isla Verde/airport areas. It is easy to get to the pier, so pick your hotel based on amenities you want (near or far from OSJ, casino, beach, pool, etc.) Check the pre-post hotel thread as well as the San Juan port thread for in-depth discussion of hotels. Popular ones are Marriott, Sheraton, El Canario, El Convento.

I SECOND EVERY WORD OF CHERYLANDTK'S ONLY ADD TO THE HOTEL LIST THE INTERCONTINENTAL. IT HAS BEACH AND RAMBLING POOL, 4 RESTAURANTS AND BALCONIES. DW AND I WERE MOST HAPPY W/IT DURING OUR PRE-CRUISE STAY.
