That is correct. Last cruise we used our EDL's and left the birth certificate and naturalization certificate at home.

 

That's what I thought. And that's what the FAQ sounds like to me. I've been panicking all night because I couldn't find my birth certificate. I have 2 of my husband's, 2 of my son's, 0 of mine. No clue how that could be. Last time I used it was 2 years ago, at the same time as my husband, to get our passport cards.

We used the passport cards on two cruises (3 of us). Although we had our birth certificates, we never used them. Customs did ask us for our Drivers license in some ports. If I had it, I would throw it in my purse but I wouldn't worry if I didn't.
