Is this dress ok for formal night?

We have two formal nights. I already have one dress and was going to wear it both nights, but then decided to get another on.

I got the sage green one. I have some cream colored dress sandals to go with it. I think it will look really good; expecially next to my husband in his awesome tux! I am so excited! 9 days and counting!
