bstrayer Posted September 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Is there a way to find out the show times for a sailing now so we know when to book our anytime dining reservations?
jo24 Posted September 11, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Only certain ships let you to book shows in advance. If they don't let you book in advance, you are unlikely to be able to find out the definite show times!
dacsmom Posted September 11, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) When is your cruise and on which ship? The cruise planner opens up somewhere around 60-90 days out. Edited September 11, 2014 by dacsmom
bstrayer Posted September 11, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted September 11, 2014 cruise is in Feb. We are actually looking to make dinner reservations, not show reservations. Just trying to coordinate dinner time so we don't miss the shows. Thanks.

There are a lot of Cruise Compass's posted on the internet. If you search for some for your ship/itinerary you can get a good gauge of when the shows are. JMG Posted September 11, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 11, 2014 On our August Grandeur cruise we went to the Concierge and asked for show times for the week so we could adjust dinner reservations if we had a conflict of times. The concierge was not able to give us any information about show times for the week! We did end up missing 2 shows as a result....have no idea why this information was not available to passengers on the ship.
Langley Cruisers Posted September 11, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Gosh, well no one has actually mentioned it yet, but usually there are two shows per night, and they are repeated (not always, but in general, yes). The first show is at approximately 7:30 pm, and the second show is approximately 9:30 pm. These are general guidelines. The first show is a pre-dinner show for second seating guests, and the second show is after dinner for main (early) seating guests. Of course, you are free to go to either show. Would you prefer to eat early or later? That is a factor. Having said that, you don't have to make MTD reservations; you are free to go to dinner whenever you wish and will hopefully be seated without delay.
