cruzn buckeye Posted September 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2014 Just wondering... I have some casino offers but due to the dates, I don't think I will be able to do one... i have until 10/16 to book... if I don't book now, will they send me new offers? And how often do they send these out? Anyone know when the next round with perhaps different sailings will come about?
CruisingSoon88 Posted September 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2014 It seems like they come in waves for me. I used to only get the regular casino offers. Then I started getting the premier ones. We've never been able to work out one of those dates and they just keep sending me new ones after they expire. This has been going on for I'd say the last year. I also keep getting the regular ones at the same time. I just booked a regular casino rate cruise today so I'm curious if I will get any more offers since I finally booked one.

RWolver672 Posted September 15, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 15, 2014 Whenever we get an offer, we either have just gotten off a cruise or already have one booked and can't use it for that cruise. For our last cruise, we booked it through our TA and when she called us back to seal the deal, she said that when she called, Carnival told her that we qualified for a casino rate and we didn't even know it. Davey Wavey Posted September 15, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 15, 2014 I have seen more offers this year than ever. When one regular casino offer runs out, there is another that goes into effect the next day. Aside from the free cruise offers earlier this year, there has been an offer active since May (the current one expires on 10/15), on top of the three premier cruises I have seen so far this year (most current one expired on 9/12). I would guess this pace will continue for a while until bookings pick up more.

Davey Wavey Posted September 15, 2014 #10 Share Posted September 15, 2014 What is the difference between a regular casino offer and a premier casino offer ?? A regular offer gives you a discount rate along with some cruise cash, usually "up to $400." Premier cruise does the same thing but has added perks like early boarding, priority line at guest services, free gifts every night in your cabin, upgraded appetizers in the casino, free drinks in the casino, no 3% cash advance fee on S&S, etc.
evandbob Posted September 15, 2014 #11 Share Posted September 15, 2014 I've been sailing since 2003 and have 18 Carnival cruises, gambling on every one of them. I just received my first casino offer, it was for a discounted cabin rate with no solo supplement. I wound up booking the second part of a B2B on the Conquest for next month, the 7 night discount cabin rate came to $405 for an inside.

wiskt Posted September 16, 2014 #14 Share Posted September 16, 2014 I also seem to get them all the time as well. I try to keep my players club active while on board. Even if just to put my card in a slot machine twice a day just to show activity. I also LOG-IN on the Carnival site often and click around doing random cruise searches. If anything they're being alerted that I am searching or "possibly interested" in booking something soon. I know my PVP get an alert whenever I log on, because he tells me he sees Ive been browsing. :) I've already had a Free Cruise-Grande Suite which I grabbed immediately with a couple of friends. I just took advantage of a sweet Casino offer deal on the BREEZE which I'm leaving for on Sunday. So I say, keep checking, keep everything active. winddawn Posted September 16, 2014 #15 Share Posted September 16, 2014 I have been receiving premier cruise offers pretty much non-stop for the past couple of years. I booked one of them and cruised on it last fall. I have also received the regular casino offers pretty much non-stop until this past spring. And then I didn't get another one until just last week. It is good until October 16th and can be used for multiple bookings; however, when I look at the casino rates offered, the close-in dates are the best deals. I also just received a new premier cruise offer today. I also had trouble viewing that page, cruzn buckeye, so I restarted my computer and was then able to see the premier offers after that. The new round of premier cruises has dates going out to late February. To answer some of the questions being asked, the premier cruises are offered on specific ships and sail dates at Carnival's discretion, and you get to choose your own cabin (not a cabin guarantee rate). They include a drinks on us card for in the casino use only, a welcome aboard party with free appetizers and cocktails, priority embarkation, some free gifts delivered to your cabin (I got Carnival logo champagne flutes, cookies, petit fours in my cabin), and they have events in the casino that are only for the premier casino guests (drawings and a slot tournament). They are a lot of fun, but do be aware that the casino will be busier and smokier on these sailings. I received a packet of information in the mail from Carnival after I booked the premier cruise and before sail date. The regular casino offers are for a discount on a cruise where you pick the ship and sail date (with some restrictions) and you also get a certain amount of casino cash which can vary by sail date. You get to choose your own cabin too (it's not a guarantee cabin offer). You can find out the amount of cruise cash you have available to you by calling your PVP or the 800 Carnival line. I don't use a travel agent, so I can't speak about that.
rok233 Posted September 16, 2014 #16 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Check your offers. New Premier cruises just showed up on my account. I just had the premier cruises show up on my account but they're the same as the Premier Cruises that expired last week. Do you have a new list or are they the same as the previous offer? I'm thinking they can't sell the previous cruises so they put them back up.

I'm thinking they can't sell the previous cruises so they put them back up. i got the same thing. So I called the number listed , 1-866-299-5730, for Global Casino, and they said it was a glitch and corrected it to show the new sailings. However, I am finding there are no solo rates, which I need, and no free casino rates, like some are getting. But there is a nice casino cash, which I found the amount when I called, and the drinks on us card is included. My offers go through March 8 on certain cruise dates. I wish I had someone to cruise with me, the price is pretty steep without someone sharing my cabin. But I would love to go on one...:D

Wondering if I should wait, if they will offer solo rates.. or perhaps a free cruise like others are getting... rates are high for solos on the ones I have offers on.. near the beach Posted September 17, 2014 #19 Share Posted September 17, 2014 My son who has taken two Carnival cruises received the casino offer. We have sailed on over fifteen Carnival cruises and have never received a casino offer. A $146 cruise would be hard to turn down.
