Now in Viking Crown on laptop to try and get a handle on what's happening to uploading images.... There's a private event on..... am sat in a far off corner enjoying their piano and violin music..... very sophisticated.....

At top tier event. Big hugs from CD Drew Devine. He's lost 30lbs! Lots of catching up to do. Tells me Ovation of the Seas official title of Oasis 3...... is that right as I'm not up to speed with what is Quantum or Oasis 3 or 4.....

I've decamped to the card room. Am struggling with Photobucket. I had all of yesterdays pics uploaded yesterday from the card room (which is why I've come back). Then moved them to another Photobucket folder..... they vanished. Thought I would try and upload the pics to my Dropbox but that's not working either really really slow.... my thinking is that if they were hosted elsewhere I could upload them easier..... any suggestions as to what to do now greatfully received.... this blog is gonna collapse if I can't share images....

 

I have excellent local connection here..... as in Viking Crown.

 

If I send the pics from my phone to FB the quality won't be as good plus it will inundate my FB feed.... I've over 150 pics from yesterday and counting.....

How is the replenish package? Can you get the fresh OJ at more venues other than Windjammer and MDR?

Specialty coffes at Promenade cafe I suggest? No Starbucks I read. Are the freestyle machines working and is Ginger ale available? I will be at the TA 14th October. I live in the Netherlands and go watching Oasis dock at the cruise terminal September 30. I will wave!

What a great trip to be looking forward to. You must go up to the private suites only sun deck. It is just above the Solarium. You must take the stairs on the Port side from the deck just above the pool deck. In the Caribbean after 7:00PM it is open to all. .

Just got off the first 5 nighter - after 7pm this area was for cigar smokers....

 

Drat I didn't find all 23 of the little ET like creatures, I never saw the CP gnomes, and I'm not sure about a few of the venues in Radio's pictures! I need to go on again.... following your blog enviously! Have a great time! And give Ed a hug!

Went there this morning but was still full from last night..... they wouldn't do my specialty coffee or freshly squeezed OJ so left.....

Have tickets for the show next week.... I won't be doing it myself as I'm scared of slipping and dislocating the already damaged hip.

Day 1 MDR menu was Mojo.

Day 2 was Saffron.

 

Wash & Fold laundry special was offered tonight.

 

I missed sailaway as I'd discovered the Diamond Lounge..... so very generous with their drinks.....

 

 

Here's an interesting piece of gossip..... there were so many people in the line for MTD tonight that they sent some from the line up to the Solarium Bistro and comped their meal...... not sure how I feel about that as I had to pay to dine there......

Loved it.... there was talk of turning it into a Samba Grill but in 2 weeks dry dock there wasn't time to effect the necessary changes..... so it's staying but is being revamped. New air con and other cosmetic changes. Until they brought up the My Time Diners it was maybe 90% empty.....

Flew in to Terminal 1 in Barcelona. The shuttle service were supposed to meet me there then direct me to the airport shuttle to get me to Terminal 2B.... there was no-one there..... plenty of RCL personnel about and someone directed me to where I could get the airport shuttle to 2B. Had to meet the shuttle service at the black horse.

 

 

The shuttle dropped other passengers off in downtown Barcelona. This boulevard reminded me very much of Paris.

 

 

From the entry to the port it's a long bridge to the quai.

 

 

And there she is. Our first view. The driver kept taking pics of Lady O as he inhaled deeply and muttered something in Spanish.

I remember to ask for WOW cards..... they weren't offered..... wonder if I can get some on turnaround....

 

 

There are all sorts of shops after checkin including alcohol and water purchase opportunity.
