spindrift Posted September 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2014 I'm wondering about the Rhine & Moselle levels (between Basel & Amsterdam). Is any section of any of the rivers at a more consistent level. We did a Christmas Cruise a couple of years ago, and at that time, all was good. I know one cannot predict a perfect level, but it just seems that the above-mentioned trip (Basel/Amsterdam) might be of a more consistent level. I just don't want to end up being bussed for the entire trip. (Gee, didn't mean to make this so wordy, but you got the idea). :o

HDS Posted September 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2014 You can check water levels on all German rivers on this website recommended by Notamermaid. http://www.wetteronline.de/pegelstaende?gid=SAC It’s in German but the graphics are good. The map gives you the deviation from the mean water level (Flusspegel or Pegel or Pegelstand in the German language). Hover your cursor above the green or red markers to find the names of cities and rivers. The more green means the more below average, the more red means the more above average.
