Need help with Oasis cabin selection. JS 6248 or JS 6644?

Hi all,

I need help with selecting my cabin on the Oasis of the seas. The cabin we are currently in is JS 6248 on the port side of the ship. The map shows that on the other side of the hallway is the Schooner bar. Can I expect to get any noise being so close to the schooner bar? The other cabin choice is 6644 on the starboard side of the ship. The advantage of this cabin is that it is on the middle of the hump. My main concern with this cabin would be the possibility of cigarette smoke from deck 5 since the starboard side of the ship allows smoking. If you were going to select a cabin which one would you go with? Are there any advantages of port versus starboard?

Thanks,

Adam

Stayed 2 doors down in 6252 on the Allure a few years ago... heard NOTHING from the hallway and enjoyed the port side balcony, as the Allure/Oasis docks on the Starboard side of the ship in many ports.

Enjoyed the location of this room very much and would have booked it again for this fall, but have deck 8 instead.

Smoking is no longer allowed on balconies on the ship-Only in the casino(deck 4) or up on Deck 14/Pool Deck - Port Side. So there will be no smoke coming from the Schooner Bar.

Good luck and happy cruising!
