Tgrubbs Posted September 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Leaving on the Liberty on Oct. 11, 2014. Was wondering if anyone has cruised the Liberty recently and know the name of the band that was playing and what the platinum gift was. Thank you. SkyMaster Posted September 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Sailed "Liberty" a couple of weeks ago. The various bands performing, besides the 10 piece theater band are: "Bilateral" usually in the atrium "3 Notes" Doing "Latin" music. "Music Mix" playing at the Casino Stage. All pretty good IMO! The4Cruisers Posted October 9, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2014 Sailed "Liberty" a couple of weeks ago. "SKY" Oh Sky... I usually like your posts, especially about the Paradise. But, I have to disagree with you about the music on Liberty. ;) :D First, Music Mix was great! We rocked with them (along with many other pax) for several hours a couple nights outside of the casino. They had the crowd going for sure. 3 Notes were tolerable, but not my cup of tea. They generated some interest on the casino stage. But, BiLateral were HORRIBLE! I guess by bilateral, it meant that not only was their music the audio cure for insomnia, but it was also a surefire method of crowd dispersement. They had no personality, they looked strained all evening, their songs were mostly unrecognizable, and they had few to nobody applauding (even politely) after their songs. I wanted to feel bad for them, but I was harboring too much hatred for the SOB that hired them! Anyway, the rest of our cruise was great! :)
9876 Posted October 9, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 9, 2014 3 Notes and Music Mix were great. I agree, BiLateral I did not enjoy.
katiel53 Posted October 9, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 9, 2014 We only listened to Music Mix and thought they were great. I hope their contract gets renewed and they are back by Feb 1 on Liberty and then being selfish, I hope they get changed to Sunshine or Valor as we usually sail from Pt Canaveral.
