Travelcat2 Posted September 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2014 We will be in a Vista Suite on the Riviera in late November. I know that taking alcohol from your stateroom that you have purchased onshore is tacky (to say the least), but, what about taking an included bottle of wine from the suite to dinner and sharing it with friends? We also have the prestige alcohol package and could have glasses of wine but would like to share a bottle or two at dinner. Just want to do the right thing. Thanks:)
Rare Caroldoll Posted September 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2014 but I do think I paid a corkage fee. You can ask the Butler. I am almost sure I paid something though.
Travelcat2 Posted September 23, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted September 23, 2014 Thanks Caroldoll -- there is no way I would pay for alcohol that I have already paid for in my cruise fare. I'll just have to invite people into the suite. Darn - Regent is so much easier to be social:o

Mura Posted September 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2014 We didn't do everything Jan suggested but we did take our "free" bottle of wine to the restaurants on a couple of occasions. (We pre-chilled our white wines.) No corkage fee. The label clearly shows that is a "complimentary" bottle. There was never any question from the wait staff when we presented it to be opened. Just tell your butler which bottles to take to storage for you. You will be able to ask, by suite number, in any dinning venue for any bottle you have place in storage and there will be NO corkage fee. Enjoy...
