Does anyone know if NCL's "BAGS" (Baggage Airline Guest Services) Program is available in NOLA ?

(I've seen many posts talking about it in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale -

available only in those ports ?

Disembarking from the NCL Dawn - would love to not have to hassle luggage to the MSY airport

Thanks

If memory serves, I think the last time we were in NOLA they didn't do the bags service. We took the ship City tour which left the ship and ended at the airport along with you bags. It wasn't a lot more expensive than just getting transportation to the airport. It's a way to see some of the city, very informative, and also not have to worry about you bags.

Thought that might me an idea for us if the "bags" program were not available. Checked it out and found it is only for flights after 3:00 PM., ours is at 2:40. Guess it's on to plan "C"

I believe our flight was after 3:00 pm but we got to the airport with plenty of time to spare, ( a couple of hours?) I don't think 2:40 would be a problem, but you never know. Anyway, it was a nice easy way to transition out of cruise mode. LOL

Additionally, read some mixed reviews about the private companies handling the bags. Could be worth it if you want to do a little sightseeing on your own.
