Beaches for snorkelling

Any suggestions of a good beach that has off shore snorkelling for beginner snorkelers? We plan to bring our own gear.

Coki Beach. Get there by "taxi" approximately $10-12 pp each way. Food, drinks, showers, bathrooms available. Calm water. Good for kids.

Coki beach is wonderful and some of the best shore snorkeling I have ever seen.

 

I have a complete review with TONS of pictures in it, located in my signature line, if you are interested in seeing the place and seeing snorkeling pictures. :)

Since you have your own gear I'd consider Secret Harbor as well. Not as loud and busy as Coki being home to a condo property, but great snorkeling. Sapphire is also very good and also home to condo properties so more laid back than Coki. Gorgeous beach and island views as well. All offer other amenities and food and drink, SH has a real beach restaurant, Sapphire a beach grill and restaurant behind the marina, and Coki several vendors.

Cowpet Bay (aka Elysian) is even less busy and offers easy snorkeling and has a restaurant.

 

Can't go wrong with any of these East End beaches, just depends on the vibe you want. ;)
