Hello, does anyone know which resort hotel in Mazatlan that Princess Cruises uses for their resort, beach and shopping shore excursion for year 2014? Thank you.

Doubtful anyone will know as Princess is just returning to Mazatlan this year.

The brochure is not specific; all it says is:

 

Enjoy surf, sand and sun at one of Mazatlan's best-known resorts, right in the heart of the Golden Zone. Relax on palm lined beaches, swim in the sparkling pools and a savor a Mexican lunch buffet. Then, explore the souvenir stores, lively restaurants, and glamorous hotels of this popular tourist enclave.

 

They probably have not selected a spot yet.

It's been a couple of years since Princess stopped at Mazatlan, but when we did this about five years ago, it was the Hotel Playa Mazatlan. The buffet lunch was very good. The pool does not overlook the ocean but was fine, and you could choose the beach if you wanted.

Hotel playa mazatlan was where we went a few years ago. Loved it so much, we went back on our own on a later trip. Very old-style low-rise Hacienda type hotel on the beach. They make a good margarita ! Glad to hear Princess is returning to Mazatlan. That is one of my favorite ports

Yes, Hotel playa Mazatlán.

They offer day passes through the hotel too.
