rox1234 Posted October 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2014 Do the snorkling tours include flotation devises?
Rare Lionesss Posted October 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) I have used both a boogie board and a floatie vest on all our snorkel excursions here. I guess it depends on the company which one they provide. But we have always been offerred something, my DH and DD refuse to use one. Always booked thru RCI. Can you e-mail to see which one they provide. Sea Ya Edited October 5, 2014 by Lionesss
JohninDC Posted October 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2014 Never been on a snorkel tour that did not offer float vests - and more than a few required them. I prefer to use them.
griz400 Posted October 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2014 I cant ever seeing myself using someone elses snorkel gear .... even a snorkel vest, you blow up with your mouth ... and you let air out when you want to dive down and back up for a while, then you blow it back up with your mouth ...when you want to just snorkel up top for a while, and really, snorkeling without a vest is not very smart at all ...in fla you have to use a vest and a flag ... boats hurt anyways, you can snorkel a long time with proper equipment .. most cannot swim more than around 5 minutes without resting ..a vest is your rest .. :)
