Do they Sell Canon PowerShot G1X Mark II Digital Camera on the Grandeur?

Anybody know if they sell this particular camera

Canon PowerShot G1X Mark II Digital Camera

 

on the Grandeur? If so, how much is it?

I agree with both comments. They sell a few camera's but it's a limited number of models.

Can I ask as to why you want to buy a camera on board the ship? I think it's better to ask than to make an off the cuff remark about it being cheaper elsewhere.

Have to agree with the others that the odds of finding that camera on the ship is very unlikely. I only remember seeing a couple camera on any cruise I've been on and I don't recall them being particularly top of the line.

 

Another thing to consider is if you buy it outside the US, it probably won't come with a USA warranty. Don't know if the same would apply if you happened to find it on the ship.

 

Another thing to consider is Canon is releasing the G7x in a couple weeks. You might already know this and prefer the G1x mkII, but I'm just throwing it out there.

No they do not, although apparently this answer has a 0.000001% chance of being wrong, which in my book is good odds of it being right.:D

I would guess they probably don't. They have a few cameras, but they are more "mainstream" than the G1X Mark ii (which I have and love, by the way). My last RCI cruise was on the Navigator in April, and they were really pushing the GoPro cameras.

Unless you have allot of On board credit to burn, I wouldn't buy a camera on board. I just recently purchased a gopro and it is a great device.
