Luv Cruising Land or Sea Posted October 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2014 We will be sailing for the first time with Celebrity next March and booked with the last promotion offering $200 in OBC. Can someone tell me if there are "restrictions" on what this OBC can be used for? On our last cruise with Princess, the OBC's just show up on our account/statement as "credits" and are deducted from any spending we do on board weather for beverages, excursions or the casino. I would like to know if this will be the case on Celebrity as well. thanks
CHEZMARYLOU Posted October 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2014 there are no restrictions. Every time you purchase something the OBC will be reduced until you end up owing Celebrity. :D Mary Lou

Phxazzcruisers Posted October 8, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 8, 2014 If your OBC shows up as OBN it is a non refundable credit and must be spent in its entirety. If it is OBR it is refundable if not totally spent. Enjoy your cruise
Algebralovr Posted October 9, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2014 You might not be able to use it in the Casino. Otherwise, it is as described.

On our last cruise with Princess, the OBC's just show up on our account/statement as "credits" and are deducted from any spending we do on board weather for beverages, excursions or the casino. Also, you cannot use OBC to pay the deposit when booking another cruise onboard.

Thanks Barb - typically we have been able to "charge" the Casino to our cabin and then "pay the bill" at the end so was hoping this would not have any strings and would just be a credit towards our final bill adding up gratuities, bar charges, excursions and casino charges - sound like Celebrity works the same way we are accustomed to on Princess.
