Bon Voyage Liquor

I'm sailing on the Splendor next week (so excited!!:D) and am thinking about buying a bottle of liquor for my cabin. It'd be nice to be able to mix a drink while getting ready for dinner and before bed without having to go to a bar (although I will be visiting plenty of those, trust me). I'm just wondering, how close to sailing can you buy liquor online through Bon Voyage or (if I'm already past that deadline), is it possible to buy a bottle once I'm on the ship (and how do you do that)? Thanks!!!! :D

My suggestion is to give it a try. If, in fact, you are past the deadline you will not be able to place the order. I always bring my receipt's from Bon Voyage with me.

Thanks!! :D Do you know if you can buy bottles on the ship or not (at BV prices I assume, which is fine)? Oh ya, I always bring receipts for anything and everything I buy/pre-order!! It's just the smart thing to do IMO.

I have never bought any while aboard but believe you can. I have no idea what the price difference is or if there is none. Enjoy your Cruise !!! :D

I've purchased BV liquor as close as 2 days prior to sailing with no issues at all....I believe onboard you can go through Guest Services and purchase.

I don't know that there is an official cutoff deadline. Either the liquor is stocked on the ship or it isn't.

 

How you would order on the ship is through room service and it is the same price as BV.

I believe I read 4 days but could wrong especially that someone said received with 2 days.

Dh and I buy our rum onboard and it seems cheaper than buying before hand.. i cannot remember the price.

You can also order it from room service, but it is pretty expensive. But it is the same price as Bon Voyage.

Bon Voyage if you order before cruise. Room service after you board. Same price either way for the liquor. Taxes and delivery will be based on laws in the port city if you are not in international waters.

In the past I have waited until the night before to purchase Bon Voyage. It made it to the room just fine. We got two bottles delivered to the room and brought on our own mixers - was perfect!

Has anyone checked liquor prices from Bon Voyage?? Last Oct. when we were on the Magic I think we paid $68 for a bottle of Canadian Club. I can't find it listed now and a bottle of Jack Daniels or Seagram 7 & is now $80..

I found Canadian Club, it is now $75 per bottle.
