Winnigirl Posted October 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2014 This is the first time we will be taking a cruise over Christmas. My husband isn't a great fan of leaving home over Christmas- he loves all the decorations, the special Christmas events and mostly the food. Can anyone tell me if the Epic is decorated at Christmas - do they have a special Christmas dinner - any special entertainment, etc.? I'd like to be able to assure him that he'll still get "that Christmas feeling".
Sauer-kraut Posted October 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) Yes, the ship will be decorated. There will be a gingerbread house set up somewhere. Santa will make an appearance. There won't be any snow though..... Edited October 12, 2014 by Sauer-kraut
SuiteTraveler Posted October 12, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2014 There will be Christmas music and there is a holiday feeling aboard the ships at that time of year. The crews seem extra happy. You might bring some Christmas decorations for your own cabin - flat things that are easy to put up and take down just to add to the specialness of the trip over Christmas. On the islands, it is fun to collect tropical ornaments and seashells to put into future Christmas decor. You might also think about bringing a few small Christmas presents to give to favorite crew members as a surprise along with their tips. Doesn't need to be anything expensive - just something fun that most people would like.
kessdarln Posted January 10, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2015 How was Christmas on the Epic and did you end up in 12310... if yes, was the 'vibration' noise all that early?
