Ship Related Gift ideas

I'm taking my two grandkids ages 9 & 11 on a cruise for Thanksgiving & I'm looking for gift ideas. I want to give them a "present" every morning. I

 

got them each binoculars because they love to borrow mine all the time. Anyone else have some ideas? The 9 year old is a girl & 11 year old is a boy.

Sunscreen, sunglasses....maybe a disposable camera....maybe nail art for the girl, and temporary tattoo for the boy....(is that sexist??? Oh, well!)

Maybe their own snorkel sets, a watch so they know when to meet you or when you will be picking them up at camp, disposable camera so they can take their own pictures, a photo album to put everything in at the end of the cruise

Just returned from the Allure of the Seas, and my 10 year old daughters loved the Pets at Sea.

 

Also, we brought from home something we picked up at the dollar store - a pack of 15 glow in the dark bracelets (you know, the ones you crack and they glow). They loved using those during the ice show and the Blue Planet, since both shows got dark.

Looks like you are on Carnival? They sell a number of decent things, and our kids (4YO twins) love to come back to the cabin to find that something has magically appeared. Having something waiting in the cabin on boarding is a big treat also. I'd think that would still apply at 9 & 11 to some degree. http://www.carnival.com/FunShops/gift-ideas

They also have gummy funnels which my kids loved. Overpriced, but not too badly. They come in regular and sour funnels, though neither seem to be on the site right now.

 

Depending on budget (or if you'd do this anyway), let them each pick a couple of 8x10s to take back at home and get them frames as an after-cruise gift.

Thanks for the tips & ideas. I ordered them each a lanyard from Amazon. I think I'll also get them a journal and some highlighters & I may order room decorations for fun.
