lele100 Posted October 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2014 I just looked at the new screens on the Carnival Website for the individual ships and it looks like the Glory has both the Blue Iguana Cantina and a Burrito Bar. That seems like an over kill. Can anyone confirm?
SMSACE6 Posted October 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) I may well be wrong, but my impression was that the ships that have blue iguana; they will make you a burrito there, so they are a dual purpose venue. I have not yet had the pleasure of visiting the blue iguana, nor been on the Glory, but from reviews I have read, I seem to remember folks who say they got burritos from there/blue iguana on other ships. kristie64063 Posted October 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2014 We were just on the Glory. The bar, is just a bar, drinks only; the burrito place is food only.
CAnative1 Posted October 13, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 13, 2014 I was on the Glory in Jan of last year. The Blue Iguana cantina was a few steps away from where they actually make the food. Opposite the Blue Iguana cantina was the Red Frog. As far as food goes out there, the burritos were Delish! Guys burgers was also out there (opposite the side from where they made the burritos). What I ended up finding was somewhat sad (to me at least), was the fact that Guys and the Blue Iguana burrito areas closed early (I want to say around 2pm). Also something to note, the Blue Iguana made some excellent breakfast burritos. Was a great alternative to the buffet breakfast.

lele100 Posted October 13, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted October 13, 2014 I realize the blue iguana makes tacos, burritos and breakfast burritos. but carnival's website shows that the glory has the blue iguana (food) not bar and a different area in the buffet area (room) called "the burrito bar" which if true that is over kill for burritos since blue iguana serves them Sent from my iPhone using Forums
CAnative1 Posted October 13, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Guys closes at 6. Blue Iguana opens early for breakfast Thanks golfadj. I didn't remember what time they closed. Just always seemed too early to me! lol. The burrito bar was just outside the doors of the buffet area. That is where you would get any food that was considered part of the Blue Iguana. If things have changed since Jan of 2013... well I can't speak on that.
