pal2pluto Posted October 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2014 We are leaving 10/23 on the Explorer 9 day for our honeymoon.....sooooooo super excited. But watching the weather, it looks like Bermuda is going to get hit twice in one week with hurricanes. First, how do those islands manage to bounce back after such damage? I can't imagine trying to get life back to normal after that! Second, we have excursions booked through RC at Bermuda and Puerto Rico. If we have to miss those islands due to weather, will they be reimbursed?
cb at sea Posted October 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Yes...if your excursion is cancelled, your money is refunded. If you have to skip Bermuda, then they will give you a sea day, or take you elsewhere...time permitting.

rtazz17 Posted October 15, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2014 As far as bouncing back thats really hard to say for obvious reasons.Wind speed, how direct of hit, rain, flooding. No way to prejudge that.Damage is damage
