gigianne Posted October 23, 2014 #26 Share Posted October 23, 2014 We had a lot of OBC, Ship Board Credit (from our TA) and 2 x Carnival share $$. We used up the OBC on the first 14 days - all but $3.40 which was carried over to our 16 day cruise. We both took an advance from the Casino - twice. The first time our card was locked and we were not able to get any more until we had the staff intervene. About 5 days before the end of the cruise I got a preliminary bill and found out that I still had too much OBC (non refundable) and all the SBC left. A visit to the jewelry store on the ship took care of that pretty fast. When we left the ship we received a considerable refund (SBC) to our credit card account. Thanks to our TA for always taking care of us!!

Thanks to our TA for always taking care of us!! That must have been alot of OBC! I am quite surprised that you got 2 X the stockholder credit (I assume two different names on the cabin) since it is supposed to be limited to one per cabin. I guess HAL does not check very carefully. Quote from the Carnival instructions: "Only one onboard credit per shareholder-occupied stateroom.
