How do you use your OBC?

We had a lot of OBC, Ship Board Credit (from our TA) and 2 x Carnival share $$. We used up the OBC on the first 14 days - all but $3.40 which was carried over to our 16 day cruise. We both took an advance from the Casino - twice. The first time our card was locked and we were not able to get any more until we had the staff intervene. About 5 days before the end of the cruise I got a preliminary bill and found out that I still had too much OBC (non refundable) and all the SBC left. A visit to the jewelry store on the ship took care of that pretty fast. When we left the ship we received a considerable refund (SBC) to our credit card account. Thanks to our TA for always taking care of us!!

That must have been alot of OBC!

I am quite surprised that you got 2 X the stockholder credit (I assume two different names on the cabin) since it is supposed to be limited to one per cabin. I guess HAL does not check very carefully.

Quote from the Carnival instructions:

"Only one onboard credit per shareholder-occupied stateroom. "
