Navigation deck on the Oosterdam

Can anyone tell me how noisy the cabins are on the Navigation deck as they are under the buffet, etc.? i have a chance to go to a Signature Suite. Thanks for any advice.

Under the Lido is usually not an issue but under the deck around the pool you may get some noise from the chairs/lounges from being moved around by pax or the crew (when cleaning).

We had a Neptune Suite on that deck last year for an Alaskan cruise and we never herd any noise at all from the Lido deck.I would think that you should be really safe. Have a great cruise.:):):)

We had a corner suite in Alaska, we heard a occasional chair drag, but it was not obtrusive. If you are a light sleeper it might be an issue. Ship happens, and it was not bothersome to us. Under the buffet you will have carpet overhead so should be even less of an issue.

As long as you are under the Lido buffet area, you will be fine as most of it is carpeted.

We have found that the sound of scraping chairs out by the Lido pool area, is more annoying on your balcony then in your cabin. If your under the Lido area as others have said it is carpeted. No noise there.

Not a problem. We normally we've been in a mid ship verandah on each of the Vistas and both Signatures.

We had an inside cabin, I0029, on Navigation deck on the Ryndam in Norway last year, it was very quiet and we hardly ever saw another person. No noise from the Neptune Lounge either. The service was exceptional too.

We were just on the Oosterdam in 8074 below the Lido and never heard a thing above us. We were concerned before the cruise also, but it was a very nice cabin.
