GEM Aft cabin on deck 8 or 10?

Wondering if anyone has any information on Gem aft cabins on deck 8 & 10. Is there any difference in size of room or balcony, (#8634 #10668)? Which would you choose? There will be 3 of us traveling in April.

Any input/comments you may have would be greatly appreciated - TY :)

The balconies on 10 are bigger. Also, on 8 you're right above the Bliss lounge. I've seen differing opinions about the noise level from there, so I say go with deck 10.

Without a doubt 10th floor. Biggest balcony.......much larger than any other floor and10668 is great. We stayed in that cabin twice..... Jump on it

TY all for your input - Spidybabe - do u have any pics of 10668? Just wondering if there will be enough room for 3 adults or if we will be tripping over each other and by the end of the cruise want kill each other :eek: lol

Having one as the lonely number, well you have lost that lonely times with three now.

 

Eight , an even number.. but TEN , IMHO, is best for your query too as show here by the vast majority..

 

I purchased Two Deck 10 Cabins on our next one on NCL GEM.:cool:

Deck 10! Please stay far away from 8 as the music and vibrations in the cabin can last until 3 am.

Everything has been said, but not everyone has said it. :)

 

On the Jewel class ships, Deck 10 for sure (because the balconies are deeper), even without the added concern of having Bliss below Deck 8 on the Gem.

Sorry no pictures. Cabin same size as others.....balcony much bigger. Three people should be fine. There are two beds *can be together or separate. And a sofa bed. Bathroom small but vanity area outside of bathroom in cabin area.

On the Jewel 10664 on ten the deck is huge. Two lounge chairs, two chairs and a table. No noise from cabins on nine or eleven. Third time we've had it and love it

Deck 10...hands down.

 

Stay away from 8, even with the free ear plugs...

I've been on 9 aft facing and visited 10 so that's where you should be!
