No Word Yet on Casino Cash

I was on the Breeze in January and earned about 1000 points. Would that be enough to qualify for any casino cash? I'm wondering if I might get like $25. Does anyone know how many points are needed for $25 in free play?

Also I sent an email to the players club a week ago to ask if I was eligible for any free play but haven't heard back yet and I'm sailing in 2 days. If I I ask at the casino cage onboard, is it possible that I'll have something, or do you only get it if they have responded to your email? In other words, does free play only come because you asked for/arranged it in advance or can you just step on the ship and find out that you have it?

I have usually asked players club as soon as I get back from a cruise, I then print the e-mail response and bring with me for the next cruise I have on the books.

I got 1500 points on my last 4 day cruise and was told for my upcoming cruise that I qualified FOR NOTHING.... :( :(

And 1500 is what you need to get the Drinks on Us card so I don't know what the hell they want anymore... it seems as if they change their mind from day to day

Hmmm...now you've got me wondering...is it 1500 points regardless of the cruise length? My Breeze cruise was for 6 night and this week I'm on the Fantasy for 5 nights.

They'd get a lot more of my money if they gave me a drinks on us card. You'd think they would monitor your play and toss out a few free drinks even without giving the card.

On our last cruise I got 1600 points and was told I get a standard bon voyage package. The one before I had 1800 points and got a deluxe bon voyage package. The last one I wasn't given the drinks on us card and was told it was because I didn't ask for it. All previous cruises when I qualified, I was given the card automatically by the casino staff.

I stopped gambling when I got to the 1600 because I didn't get the card and felt as though the host on that ship didn't much care about those not spending a lot on the tables and lots more than I lost on the slots.

I find this really funny in that I have received offers for heavily reduced cruises with a decent amount of onboard credit from the Players Club. I am thinking that on my next cruise, I will spend less time in the smoky casino which in the long run is probably better for my lungs and pocketbook, lol.
