Pink Watches

What do you all think of the watches with the pink (or other colored) bands. They are usually bejeweled in cz's or crystal.

Do you like them or think they are tacky?

They look good with many outfits for spring & summer. They are a bit on the casual side so be careful not to wear it with your more formal type outfits it could look out of place. I love the new pink watches and don't think they're tacky at all. I've been looking around and considering buying one

However, I don't think I'd spend *too* much on one as they'll probably be out of style in a few years.

I have two of the pink watches. One more expensive and one a little cheaper. But the best thing is, if the color goes out of style, you can always buy a new band in a neutral color like black or brown.

Check out ross-simons.com, they have lots of different watches with the colored bands (pink, green, aqua) that look really expensive, but aren't. They have a lot of great fashion watches that cost about $35-45 that you wouldn't feel bad if you only wore every now and then!

All of the pink watches I see have a pink face, not just a pink band.

Are we all on the same page here? If we're only talking bands, who cares....those can be changed easily. I can buy a pink band for my watch anytime.

I love watches! I have a couple of really good ones but the ones I like the best are my "junk" ones. I saw absolutely adorable pink faced watches in all shapes and sizes at our local flea market. They were priced in the $15 range and are great to wear until you tire of them and then you go buy something different. I have about 12 such watches,all different, they are such fun!

Jane, the original poster asked about pink watch bands and did not mention watch faces, so that's what I was responding to, so I think I was on the same page here. My two pink band watches have white faces so that's where I got the changing the band thing. I've not seen any with the pink faces. There are some watches on QVC that have 6 different bands that you can change. We bought it for mom for Christmas and then purchased the additional pastel bands that included pink, light blue and beige bands. They're great watches.

Yup, I was talking about the watches with the pink bands with faux jewels around the face -- whatever color the face might be. Sometimes the bands are different colors, like green, blue, yellow. I thought they were kind of cute, but I didn't want to wear something that was too teeny-bopper since I am not.

Mafig, go for it! I bought a white gold watch with diamonds last year, then have purchased l0 different colored bands for it. From pink to lavender to every other color i can get my hands on. Great for travel, just pop on a new band. Debbi

I have the changable band watch from QVC that Darcie is referring to, and I also got the pastel set of bands. I had been looking for a watch with a white band for YEARS and was thrilled to see this. I've got a ton of use out of all the straps!

Totally loving the pink one.

Another watch junkie!! I have a couple of good ones also, but LOVE all those different colors that match what I wear. My students can't wait to see what I've got on the next day. They love them as well.

Here is my theory: Buy your clothes in a more classic style and then add the latest trends in the accessories.

Pink watches are all the rage right now. I say go for it! Just know that they probably won't stay in style for more than another year, so spend accordingly. A pink watch and maybe a pink jelly bag and you look like your whole outfit is brand new. And you're SO in style!

I've thought about buying either a pink of baby blue band for my watch. I found some nice alligator/crocodile ones in the $200. range, so that would really add a summer look to my watch for not a lot of money.
I'm in the market for pink or baby blue handbag and figure I'll buy the watch strap once I get the bag, so that colors don't clash.

There's nothing teeny-booper about the look, unless it's a teenager styled watch, IMHO.
