Lanyard For SeaPass Card?

Since I am a solo cruiser, and use a walker, the lanyard helps keep the sea pass handy to open the cabin door -- they are so hard to push. Then the card goes under the shirt.

a shiny, blingy one that I bought in a shop in the promenade-- you can decide after you board and buy one there...or go to Walmart- they had them at half the price.

Forgot to mention, bought a lanyard at Academy Sporting store, about $5.00 & had a whistle included, which I gave away.

I have several, all colors, they are all Blingy. I DO have to wear my ID for work, so I can wear the colored ones I buy on the Ship(s) with my work clothes. IF I have a small purse with me, I won't wear the lanyard.

That said: Don't wear the shirt of the band you are going to see.

 

Hey, I'm just that happy that the shirt bought last time I saw that band (most recent example : 1987) still fits.

 

I'm a lanyard wearer, too. But I don't use the pouches since I lost a card on my 2nd cruise. I have a paper punch that I keep in my travel gear & use it to make a hole in one end of the card.

That's DW's strategy, but I prefer either a shirt with a chest pocket or the back pocket where my wallet enough go when on land.

It is small, about the size of sea pass and thin, and it can hold a CC or ID, or even some cash in a zippered pocket on the back. Most times I wear it around my neck and sometimes like a wallet with a strap. It can be found in Hobby Lobby.

While we are on the topic of lanyards......Why are there women carrying huge shoulder bags to breakfast in the Windjammer? Do they fill them with tea bags to take home. Extra donuts for later?

I have a smallish bag that I carry my kindle in and Kleenex, sunglasses, sunscreen, phone, tip money. I had my card deactivate once this pass weekend and then standing in line Sunday morning for Starbucks they then charge me because they did not put my royal replenish on the card. Back to guest services again, wait in line and then back to starbucks, wait 15 more min to get coffee. I kept the card stuck in my bra so have no clue why it deactivated.

I do it every cruise. Otherwise I stick it in my pocket then throw my camera in with it, then its off to guest services because my card is deactivated !

 

 

I tried to keep mine in a small bag next to my kindle. Dumb mistake. My kindle case has a big magnet. Took two trips to guest services before I figured out what was killing it.

This shas got me thinking, which lanyard should I bring?:

2004 World Series -- nah, if I last or damaged that one I'd never forgive myself

2007 World Series -- This would be a definite option if I had one from 2013, but I don't

2008 NBA Finals -- not much of a lanyard, all it has is the NBA logo

2008 Breeders Cup -- That one is nice, but I use it when I'm at my local casino on big race days.

2009 Breeders Cup -- maybe that one, but Zenyatta!

2012 Belmont Sakes -- not too interesting, just plain black

We have a Coach outlet here... I have a few lanyards from them - black, gold, and I think dark brown. Most of my outfits are covered :)
