How many pieces of luggage you you bring for couple?

Depends on the length of the cruise! Anywhere from 1-4 per person.

Only carryon but if it's free we might check the rollers on the way back...who cares what happens then!

Usually the same for us. a 20 inch roller each and a small satchel. Length of cruise or travel does not make much difference for us. We pack for seven days and do layers. Our next cruise is on the 29th. We have been doing independent land travel since early Sept..this is what we have for luggage. Essentially carry on.

It depends on the length of the cruise. We have suitcases in all sizes and if we use the large cases, we take fewer cases. Husband uses a scooter which can be packed in it's own case. And we usually each take 1 bag as a carry on and he takes one for all his electronics. And I have a large purse. We rarely fly anymore and we do get free laundry on some lines. So I can't really say how many. Every trip is different.

Pretty much the same for driving though I take more books to leave on the ship.

We each usually have 2 suitcases and a carryon. It helps that one is allowed one free bag and so the the other person on the ticket due to the Frequent Flyer Status, so I usually one have to pay for one of my bags, both when we have to split up the reservations when we use miles and vouchers to cover the trips.

1 checked bag and 1 carry-on each. First cruise was 11 days, 2nd/3rd was a B2B totalling 14 days. We do bring formal attire.

We each take one suitcase that will fit thru the scanner if we carry them on. Plus an over the shoulder bag for carry ons. We have done B2Bs and 14 dAY CRUISES WITH JUST THESE SMALL SUITCASES.
