Swim with Dolphins?

Can anyone recommend the BEST Dolphin experience on the Explorer, Eastern Route? Looking into both excursions from the ship or on our own-any major recommendations?

I am also looking for info about a dolphin swim on the western caribbean route. RCCL excursions in Ocho Rios all include Dunns River but I am not interested in that, only a dolphin experience by itself.

I'm doing RCCL western and doing the royal dolphin swim in cozumel, NOT through the cruise ship, but at the same place as the cruise ship takes it's booked excursions. you can't get the royal dophin swim via the cruise ship.

Correction-NO clue what I was thinking-we are on the Western not the Eastern as I originally posted!

Thanks for the info in Cozumel-anyone know if any of the other ports offer a dolphin swim?

Apparently there is one in Jamaica---I think near Ochos Rios.

There is Dolphin Cove in Ocho Rios. We did this as part of Duns River Falls. The main reason was for my daughter who is 6 years old. She loved it but to be honest I was not happy with the experience. The dolphins are enclosed and are made to perform over and over again for the visitors. I know some people find this to be an experience of a lifetime but I felt that it was a bit cruel. The Stingray City Tour in Grand Cayman was much better because the stingrays only hang around the area because they know they will be fed and a free to swim away if they wish.
