Advantage to booking thru PVP?

I am curious as to what are the advantages of using a PVP rather than just booking the cruise on your own. Any ideas?

The only advantage is the knowledge and service the PVP can provide which can be a great value.

I've always done things on my own but last cruise I decided to try a PVP. We were going to book all 4 of us in a suite and she let us know it would be cheaper to book the kids in an inside cabin rather than having all 4 of us in the same cabin. It was an option that never crossed my mind.

If there are more than 10 cabins available in a cabin category the PVP can see all the available cabins. Online at carnival.com you will only be shown a maximum of 10 available cabins in a particular category.

Mine is able to see if any disabled cabins are available, and knows my preferences. He's also been able to get a price reduction from what's on the website.

My PVP is great. When he books it you can rest a sure everythink is correct.
