Serenade of Seas- Specialty Restaurant

We will be sailing on the Serenade of the Seas in January and would like to eat at one of the specialty restaurants. I know food is very subjective but which restaurant would you chose and why?

Giovanni's Table on the Serenade was awesome. Food and Service were great. We were underwhelmed by Chops.

The girls prefer Giovanni's while the men in my family prefer Chops. My advice is do both.

 

Both time on the Serenade, and actually many of the ships, they offered BOGO first night to everyone.

 

Sort of takes the perk from the C&A for BOGO specialty, however, they have also let us use our C&A for another night so long as we book and apply it the first night. That is what we have been doing.

Giovanni's Table fans here! Chops is just not what is was years ago when it was introduced on the ships. :)

I'll be the odd man out here. We had the best Chop's experience on Serenade. But then we are meat 'n potato folks. Giovanni's Table is nice, but not my favorite.

We did the dining package on Serenade in April, so we got to try them all. Obviously- Chefs Table is an experience not to be missed. As far as the more moderately priced venues - I have to say - we had a much better meal and experience at Chops than we did at Giovanni's.

We had a great experience at both, especially given that our waitress at Chops had also been our waitress in the Chops on Freedom of the Seas and it was nice to get an update on where she'd been. That said, I think the food in Giovanni's was slightly better than Chops. Definitely give both a try though!
